Adrienne's new house and new baby
We had a fun night seeing Adrienne's newly built house and new daughter. Carter just love babies!! Her husband is a police officer and let Carter sit on his big motorcycle in the garage. Cool beans!

CJ and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas. The kiddos stayed home with Grandma Sam to get spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. We came home rested and relaxed, and still had a little cash left in our pockets. ;-)

Skirt Chasers 5K, Sept 6 2008
Denver road race were the women received running skirts with their entry fees. Women started at 5:00PM and the men's start time was 5:03 PM. The goal was not to be passed up by any men. Yeah, didn't happen for me! My finish time was 33 minutes and 46 seconds, but it took me about 6-10 seconds to get going through the crowd and actually pass the starting line (but that counts against ya).

Tornados and Rainbows
On August 24, we experienced a tornado in our town -- actually 3!! Two of which touched down. The tornado photo that you see was taken by my backdoor neighbor. We were too busy rounding up dogs, cats and kids!
Then about an hour later, we got a double beautiful rainbow. The calm after the storm.
The following day, the skies turned ugly again. The mother ship cloud was hovering right over us. I didn't like that.... But nothing came of it.

My First Guitar
We have a future rocker on our hands!! The King of Air Guitar finally got his first set of strings. Carter calls it his "nee-nee-nee".
