Wrong Church, Pa Pa!
Oh, what a morning! We failed to inform Pa Pa that we attend church at Southeast Christian and assumed that he knew. Pa Pa assumed that we attended church where Erica goes to school (which is a couple of blocks from our house!). So he went to church by our house and we went across town to Southeast Christian -- and missed each other completely! But being Pa Pa, he stopped to get Erica some cookies and left them in our driveway (since he WAS in the neighborhood). Here's some photos of her discovery. SORRY PA PA!!!!!
Baby Dedication at Southeast Christian
CJ and I had our babies dedicated at church on Mother's Day. We were on stage with at least 20 other families in the group ceremony where we promised to raise our children in a christian home, and the congregation promised to help us. Our dear friends Kindra and Kerry and ADORABLE son, Kameryn, came out to support us.... and photograph the short ceremony.
Mother's Day Party at Erica's school
Erica goes to "school" on Fridays, so on May 11th they invited the mommies in for cookies and milk about a half hour before pick-up. The kids made hand prints on tiles the week before and gave them to us at the party. They also entertained us with the ABC Song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. It was all very very cute!
